Volvo CE Debuts 14 New Models at ConExpo, Including Electric Wheel Loader and Heavy Excavator

According to Pit & Quarry, Volvo Construction Equipment displayed more than 20 machines at ConExpo-Con/Agg in Las Vegas, with 14 new or first-look models on the floor. Highlights included the EC560 crawler excavator built for heavy infrastructure and quarry work, updates to the wheel loader lineup including the L120 Electric, the flagship A50 articulated dump truck, and the SD70 soil compactor making its North American debut. Volvo CE president Melker Jernberg said the company “brought machines and services that are ready to deliver today.” The company also showcased its technology tools, including ActiveCare Direct and an equipment-as-a-service model.

• About 35% of Volvo CE’s machine lineup has been updated since 2023, meaning equipment you spec or rent today is likely newer-generation hardware with better uptime features.
