EdgeConneX has filed plans for two additional data centers in Cedar Creek, Bastrop County, Texas, at $600 million apiece, bringing its total planned investment there to $1.2 billion, Construction Dig reports.
Each of the two facilities is expected to span about 591,400 square feet. Construction is targeted to begin in November 2026 and run through May 2028, according to reporting based on the Texas project filings cited by Construction Dig. The buildout adds to a fast-growing hyperscale corridor in Central Texas, where data-center developers continue committing large sums to new campuses.

The Cedar Creek filings land the same week Construction Dig tracked several other major construction awards, including a $364.9 million Marine Corps barracks contract at Cherry Point, North Carolina, and a $207.9 million aircraft hangar award at MCAS Beaufort, South Carolina.
