Multi-Package Procurement

A contracting approach where a large project is divided into separate scopes, each awarded as its own contract package. Subcontractors may bid on one or several packages rather than the full project. This creates more entry points for smaller field service firms but requires careful scope coordination.

A measure of natural gas production or pipeline throughput volume. Higher BCF/d figures on a project typically signal larger-scale operations requiring more field crews and equipment. Subcontractors can use this metric to gauge the scope and duration of potential work.

IEA (International Energy Agency)

Industry

An intergovernmental organisation that publishes global energy outlooks and demand forecasts, which subcontractors and field service companies use to anticipate shifts in upstream and downstream activity levels that may affect project pipelines and contract opportunities.

Wet Screening

Industry

A separation process that uses water to sort and classify aggregates, drilling cuttings, or granular materials by size. Subcontractors operate wet screening equipment on site to remove fines and contaminants from bulk materials. It is common in civil construction, pipeline work, and drilling waste management scopes.
