Pryer Aerospace Doubles Claremore Plant Capacity in Oklahoma Expansion
Pryer Aerospace has broken ground on a 60,000-square-foot expansion of its Claremore, Oklahoma manufacturing facility, Plant Services reports. The project will double the companyโs manufacturing space in Claremore, adding capacity to support existing aerospace customers while positioning the company to expand its customer base. The Claremore facility handles structural assembly, precision machining, metal fabrication, and other technical manufacturing work for the aerospace sector.
Brian Gleason, Vice President and General Manager of Claremore Operations, said the expansion reflects the companyโs confidence in its team and customers and its plans to build capacity, capabilities, and workforce for its next chapter. Representatives from the Oklahoma Department of Commerce, Claremore Economic Development, Rogers County, Northeast Tech, Tulsa Tech, and Argonaut Private Equity took part in the groundbreaking ceremony.
What It Means for Subcontractors
- A 60,000-square-foot facility expansion in Claremore signals near-term demand for civil, structural steel, and mechanical trades to handle site work and building construction before Pryerโs capacity comes online.
- Precision machining and metal fabrication capacity doubling at the plant could mean subcontract opportunities in facility fit-out, including electrical, HVAC, and specialty equipment installation tied to aerospace manufacturing lines.
- Local trade partners named in the groundbreaking, including Rogers County and Claremore Economic Development, are worth contacting directly for bid packages or permitting timelines tied to the buildout.
